1. Make files shareable via Ghost Commander

   For example, when I'm browsing pictures in the camera gallery, I would like to click the share icon and then select Ghost Commander. Ideally, once GC opens up, you'd be prompted to select destination, which would be one of your favorites (including SFTP servers etc.).

2. Move remote files remotely

   If I connect to a remote target (my NAS) to move files from one directory to another they are first downloaded to my Android device and afterwards uploaded to the new directory. This should be done on the remote device directy which would much more faster and reliable.

3. ghost and WiFi

   May want to think about the WiFi note that comes with some apps.. Many web users go to the (library) to use there WiFi.. And I have found that with my Smartfone.. The library's WiFi stopped working just after installing apps on google play.. (Some of the apps had a note about probing the WiFi connections..)

4. Could you add a drop down menu for the destination directorate

   Could you alter the destination menu with a drop down menu that would allow the user to select the sdcard.. It would make it easer to copy from home directory to the sdards directory.. Thanks.. (Still haven't figured out how to copy my home directory files to the sdcard directories).. You wouldn't have a 'how to' file and a web link to it would you.? ruhagomeh@gmail.com.com

5. The cache folder size information

   I sometimes need to frequently check many folder size, by comparison, but the GC as long as change directory, the folder size preview is empty,
   Originally wanted to come up with a fast calculation according to the time of storage properties folder size algorithm, but found that seems to have the fast algorithm,
   In this case, hope for folders have "display size" option, the default does not display, only to have a need to display the size of a folder to use, can regularly or manually check size in order to reduce resource consumption

   Can consider the proposal:
   ★more panel
   Some work only two panels available is tedious, and copy or move the confirmation window can be used to choose to move to the panel, not more complicated, the strategy can be:
   If (more than two panels)
   {
   If (in the first panel) {
   The default is copied to the second panel
   }
   else {
   The default is copied to the first panel
   }
   }
   ★Confirmation window may show by way of a list of all the panels, with gray (customizable), said the current panel in blue (customizable) said the file will be the direction of the panel,
   ★Taken the panel group
   Is a group with multiple panels, similar to the browser's TAB set, can quickly switch in different workshop
   Taken the menu optimization
   Consider two columns (SE) or 3 columns (MT), the current list is not easy to locate options (such as zip file one more "Extract", will change the list order),
   ★Taken the zip files into a specific directory or other side plate. Automatically created and extract to the same directory, by the same token, the compression can be automatically rename the zip file to the parent directory name, just like many file management now.

7. Add an optional second toolbar

   I really like the Toolbar but find the scrolling to be a bit of a bother, especially on my phone -- not so much on my tablet. I'd like to see the OPTION of TWO toolbars. Under my scheme, the main toolbar would have the functions that I most use and need, including a link to swap in the second toolbar. Users could decide whether they wanted Toolbar 2 to contain (i) everything, (ii) everything except the Toolbar 1 functions, or (iii) some other subset of the available functions. The Settings function would include an additional column for Toolbar 2 features, including, of course, a non-optional button for getting back to Toolbar 1.

9. Rename more then one file in the same time

   Using Total Comander in Windows, I find very useful the possibility to select multiple files and rename them all at once, adding a counting number or just adding some other text to the files.
   Renaming every single file at a time is pretty a waste of time (for me).

10. Open with ...

    I'm reading ePubs with MoonReader.

    Usually I'm starting from GC and select the wanted book there.

    For whatever reason there is no option to always use MoonReader for ePubs. Thus when simply clicking the file it returns to the GC screen and nothing happens.

    Half a year ago or so the 'Open with ...' list available from the context menu showed 'MoonReader' and I was able to open the book this way.

    After some of the last updates the 'Open with ...' list shows only some google apps completely useless for ePubs, no more moonreader.

    Within the internal file manager however a simple click is sufficient to popup a small window offering to open the book with 'MoonReader'.

    Thus my feature request:

    (a) Most preferably: If not possible for the whole Android system than at least for within GC -- a chance for mapping / assignment / attribution of certain file types to specific programs. I.e., I click a file of a certain type that not automatically triggers a certain program as system standard. Comparable to the MS Windows behaviour in such a case I get a list of possible programs (all installed programs!) from which to choose one. This choice is recorded in GC's preferences and next time a click on a file of that that type opens it by the chosen app without further human intervention.

    (b) If that's too much work: The 'Open with ... ' context list shows all installed apps again, not only a gravely castrated version useless in most cases.

    (c) I don't know exactly where the internal file commander gets his 'ideas' from, but at least its choice is right and better than GC's 'Open with ...' list. A loop through all installed apps, seeing which file types they are able to handle and offering only those which can handle that specific type would be an idea. As there typically aren't tens of thousands of apps on an Android device but just a few dozens, this approach should take less than a second.

11. zip files opens like a folder. I would like to open directly with my zip extractor. please correct this feature. thanks

    Currently I have to open context menu, "open with", and then to select the app to extract the zip file. To tedious.

12. Windows share and Share via

    I'm using the "Windows share" functionality of Ghost Commander all the time, although I miss the option to (will describe a scenario):

    Watching pictures in the Gallery app of the phone, want to send one to my Windows share folder on my computer over wifi, I now have "minimize" the gallery app, open the ghost commander app select the source folder of the picture, find and select the picture, select the destination folder from favorites in this case the Windows share and copy the picture.

    It would be much easier it the destinations in favorites or custom ones or at least the Ghost Commander app shortcut would be available threw the "Share via" shortcut/command (don't know if this is specific to touchwiz) where there are already other applications gmail, drive, Bluetooth, messaging.

    Maybe this suggestion is better for a separate app than a Ghost Commander functionality.

15. User Guide webpage have white background option. Wasting black ink stops me from printing info I need to operate app.

    The black background on the webpage for User Guide isn't practical because it waste ink printing the black background. You don't have to change the initial pages just make a link to webpages with white background Nd black lettering.

    Sorry ... if I posted this on the wrong board. I didn't know where else to post that would get the proper attention. Though my post does have to do with Ghost Commander user issues.

    add to the context menu (tap and hold on a zip file) command "Extract" which being selected extracts all the content of the zip file to the current folder.

20. Remove "Go" button from the Favourite

    I suggest to remove "Go" button from the Favourite. Once a favourite link is selected, it goes straight to the destination without pressing "Go".
