  1. ghost and WiFi

May want to think about the WiFi note that comes with some apps.. Many web users go to the (library) to use there WiFi.. And I have found that with my Smartfone.. The library's WiFi stopped working just after installing apps on google play.. (Some of the apps had a note about probing the WiFi connections..)

It would be much easier it the destinations in favorites or custom ones or at…

  7. SFTP: proper ssh server authentication

Implement proper authentication of the remote ssh server, to protect from rogue services and MitM.
    Consists of the following:

    • Prompt the user for confirmation when connecting to an unknow server by presenting the server's public key's fingerpring and asking if it's correct.
    • Store servers' public keys to avoid prompting the user on subsequent connections and for detecting unexpected public key changes.
    • Provide capability to edit the known hosts store, à la known_hosts file.

To improve system security, avoid storing any information related to SFTP on user storage locations. Store everything in private app data. Limit sdcard usage to import/export functionality,…

  8. NFC/Android Beam and Wi-Fi Direct Support

Great file manager, but what would make it even better is Android Beam and Wi-Fi Direct support. File transfers through Android Beam would be a lot easier. Also initiating a Wi-Fi Direct or Bluetooth connecting by NFC for large transfers, automatically configuring the connection. Maybe a QR code generator to support those non-NFC devices. I know it's a lot to ask: Android Beam, NFC, QR generator and Wi-Fi Direct support, but anything would be great. Thank you in advance.

  10. Hardlinks and symlinks.

Support creation of symlinks and hardlinks in filesystems that support them.

    Possible applications:
    - Hardlink installed APK files into /data/media to allow read access from unprivileged apps (e.g. for Bluetooth sharing)
    - Hardlink files between user directories within /data/media for multiuser systems
    - Symlink rarely used or big APK files into a different partition.
    - Every other kind of cool stuff one can do with hardlinks and symlinks.

Can I password protect a file on my nexus? For instance I would like to take a photo of a client with credit card photo or ID on file, but password encrypt this files. All while unlocked and unrooted. I'm sure I can make a document on my PC and password protect it to open said file, but it would be tits if I could do it from Ghost.  Thanks! As always 5 stars. :)

  13. Show free space of current drive/folder

Just show "xxxM free" in status bar for the mount point of the current folder. This especially is useful for /sdcard, /system and /data/data.

  15. Add a terminal!!

Nothing fancy, maybe let us write our scripts with the text editor, ability to execute them, and move them to whatever file directrory we might want them. Would be nice to do it all from ghost. Would eliminate having to download another app.

  16. to add descending option to sort method

I would like to suggest descending option in sort files. I believe people will like to see newer files first. Now we can do it by selecting twice the same sort method. It's a bit long way for touchable screens.

  19. Batch install apps by copying to Applications

Select several apk's while in the other pane you've opened Applications, then copy to batch install. It's fine if you still have to press the install button for every app (so no root required).
